Sleep is track number ten out of My Chemical Romance's third album, "The Black Parade". It was written by the band and produced by Rob Cavallo, and it's kind of a hopeless song. The voice introductions, perhaps the creepiest part of the song, is actually Gerard Way, and this voices were actually recordings he used to do after having nightmares at the Paramour house.
According to Frank Iero (on The Black Parade's limited edition booklet): "I really like this song. It was written later on in L.A. around the same time as "Famous Last Words". It just hits so hard when it comes in, I really love the mood it creates. The idea behind it is pretty straight forward, highly inspired by nerd movies, and a haunted ass house in the Hollywood hills. I love the tape recorder thing that Gerard did, creeps me out."

io ho sempre amato qst canzone...per il vortice di emozioni,luci,ombre pensieri in cui mi trasporta...
mi fa sempre pensare ad una fredda pioggia durante una calda giornata d'estate...
mi fà sentire delle emozioni che nessun tipo di musica è mai riuscito a comunicarmi...
